Hi — I'm Danny, the Founding Solutions Engineer at imper.ai, based in Charlotte, NC.

My career has lived at the intersection of Apple device management, endpoint security, and identity. I ran a 3,000-device Apple ecosystem at UNC Charlotte, built the Mac security and CIS compliance program for a Fortune 100 at Allstate, spent three years at Kandji finishing as their #1 Solutions Engineer globally, and today I help enterprises fight AI-driven impersonation — deepfakes, help-desk vishing, and hiring fraud. Off the clock, I'm usually elbow-deep in Home Assistant — my house has more automations than it has rooms — and the best of what I build ends up on the blog.

I could not be more grateful for the online communities that have allowed me to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I've reached the point in my life and career where I feel I need to start giving back to those same communities — this site is part of that.
